Notes give both students and teachers the ability to highlight important points in a video lesson. They can also be used to ask questions about a specific moment in the lesson or to provide additional information or resources that the community may find helpful.
To view a note on a video, hover over the profile icon on the video playback timeline or click on the thumbtack icon to view a list of all notes.
Meanwhile, to view just your own notes, simply click the View My Notes button, which can be found on top of the class video list.
Once you've completed a class, simply refresh the page and the Notes field will pop up right below the class video.
You can leave notes on any and every class that you are watching, and you can use notes personally or publicly. Personal notes are for your eyes only and are a great tool to enhance your learning experience. Public notes are available for everyone to see and are an awesome way to contribute to the community.
To add a note to a video lesson:
- Type your note in the “Add a Note” box (found below the video) at the desired time in the video lesson
- Select Public or Private
- Press Post
