Notes give both students and teachers the ability to highlight important points in a video lesson. They can also be used to ask questions about a specific moment in the lesson or to provide additional information or resources that the community may find helpful.
You can leave notes on any and every class that you are watching, and you can use notes personally or publicly. Personal notes are for your eyes only and are a great tool to enhance your learning experience. Public notes are available for everyone to see and are an awesome way to contribute to the community.
To add a note to a video lesson:
- Click on the thumbtack icon on the progress bar at the bottom of each class video.
- Type your note in the “Add a Note” box at the desired time in the video lesson
- Select Public or Private
- Press Post
To view notes on a video lesson:
Hover over the profile icon on the video playback timeline or click on the thumbtack icon to view a list of all notes.
Meanwhile, to view just your own notes, simply click the View My Notes button, which can be found on top of the class video list.
