What happens if I violate Skillshare's Community or Class Guidelines?

Should moderators find any violations of our Community or Class Guidelines, you will be notified via the email used to register your Skillshare account. Depending on the severity of the violation, your content may be temporarily hidden on the site until you make the required changes or permanently removed. Please note that Skillshare reserves the right to remove all of your content and/or your account.

Skillshare's Class and Community Guidelines are in place to ensure the health and safety of our community.

 Illegal Activity

Skillshare has a zero-tolerance policy for illegal or fraudulent activity on the platform. If we determine that you have posted content to Skillshare that is in violation of the law, we reserve the right to remove all of your content and your Skillshare account immediately.

Community Flags

Policy violations on the class level can be reported by members using the "Report A Class" button. While Skillshare takes into account the frequency of reports in a particular class, all courses are comprehensively reviewed by our team before any action is taken. Lastly, reporting a class does not guarantee that it will be hidden, only that it will be reviewed for policy violations by our team of moderators.
