Once you've set up a 1-on-1 Session, you can edit it further to customize your availability.
- Log in to Skillshare with your teaching credentials and navigate to Creator Hub.
- In the left-hand menu, click 1-on-1 Sessions.
- Navigate to the Sessions tab and find the session you want to edit.
- Click the More options menu (...) and select Edit on that session.
- Scroll past the General Settings for that session to see your availability. Click Edit.
- From here you can make further adjustments to your general availability in a given week, or customize these options:
- Buffer Time: By default, this is set to 0 to enable back-to-back bookings, but you can automatically add time before or after a booking to give you time to prepare, or wrap up.
- Notice Period: 16 hours is the minimum notice period for new bookings, but you can change it to whatever interval you want. Users will only be able to book at least this far in advance. Also under Notice period, you can choose how you want to manage any new booking requests. By default, you’ll need to manually accept or decline every booking request you get (we recommend this!), but you can also adjust the notice period to accept bookings automatically.
- Maximum Booking Period: Adjust this window to prevent users from booking with you too far in advance. The default is 90 days.
7. Click Save to confirm your changes.
You also have these additional features to manage your availability:
- Set your global unavailability. Useful if you have some upcoming days off and you want to block certain days for all sessions.
- Integrate your calendar. 1-on-1 Sessions support a Google Calendar integration to ensure that students don’t book over an existing meeting. Learn more about setting up this integration.
