For any session you offer, you can add up to four questions for participants to answer before they book. These questions can help you gather the info you need to prepare and personalize the experience.
Tips for crafting your questions:
- Ask participants to share the specific pain points or goals they’d like to focus on.
- Request examples of past work to help you offer more tailored feedback — something nearly every participant values. If they don’t have a portfolio or website, suggest they share a link to their Instagram or another relevant platform (e.g., Spoonflower).
To add a question:
- Log in to Skillshare with your teaching credentials and navigate to Creator Hub.
- In the left-hand menu, click 1-on-1 Sessions.
- Navigate to the Sessions tab and find the session you want to edit.
- Click the More options menu (...) and select Edit on that session.
- Scroll to the bottom to view the Booking Questions section. Click Edit.
By default, all services include the question "What would you like the call to be about?" which you can keep as is or customize. Questions can be no more than 100 characters in length and are short answer format only.
Make sure you toggle the Required setting on if you need students to answer a particular question before booking.
