You can cancel your Skillshare subscription from your Account settings if you signed up on skillshare.com. If you subscribed through the iOS App Store or Google Play, you’ll cancel directly through that app store.
Cancel your subscription
On desktop
- Go to Account settings on skillshare.com.
- Select Membership & Payments from the left menu.
- Click Cancel membership.
- Follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation.
On the mobile web browser
- Open skillshare.com in your mobile browser and sign in.
- Tap your profile icon.
- Select Account settings.
- Tap Membership & Payments.
- Tap Cancel membership, then follow the prompts.
Cancel a subscription purchased through an app store
If you started your subscription through the iOS App Store or Google Play, the app store manages your billing. That means cancellations must be completed through the store where you subscribed.
- Google Play: Cancel your subscription through your Google Play account settings.
- iOS App Store: Cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.
What happens after you cancel
Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. During that time, you can continue to:
- Watch classes
- Update your class projects
- Participate in class discussions
Once the billing period ends, you’ll lose access to:
- Skillshare classes
- Downloadable materials shared by teachers
Special cases
Some subscriptions follow a different cancellation process.

Cancel through Account settings on skillshare.com before the trial ends.
Skillshare for Teams accounts
Cancellation terms depend on your organization’s agreement. Contact your organization’s administrator or reach out to teamhelp@skillshare.com for support.
Tips to know
- Canceling your subscription does not immediately remove access. You can continue learning until your billing period ends.
- If you subscribed through Apple or Google, Skillshare cannot cancel the subscription for you.
- You can rejoin Skillshare anytime to continue learning and creating.
