Refunds may be available within a limited time window depending on how your subscription or purchase was made. Here’s how to check your eligibility and request a refund.
Check if your Skillshare subscription is eligible for a refund
Refund eligibility depends on the type of trial or billing period associated with your subscription. If you’re eligible for a refund, contact Skillshare Support to submit your request.
If you started with a 7-day free trial
You may be eligible for a refund if you contact Support within 48 hours after your subscription is charged.
If you started with a 14-day (or longer) free trial
Charges after a 14-day or longer free trial are not eligible for refunds.
Subscription renewals
Skillshare does not offer refunds for subscription renewals.
For annual subscriptions, Skillshare sends a renewal reminder email approximately 30 days before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription anytime before renewal to avoid future charges.
If you’re in the EU
If you’re located in the European Union, you may have a 14-day cooling-off period under local consumer protection laws. If you start a subscription with a free trial, your trial period counts toward this 14-day period. After this period has passed, refunds are not available.
If you’re in the UK
If you’re located in the United Kingdom, you may have a 14-day cooling-off period under local consumer protection laws.
- If you start a subscription with a free trial, your trial period counts toward this 14-day period.
- You may also have a new 14-day cooling-off period in certain cases when your subscription renews, such as for annual plans.
After the applicable cooling-off period has passed, refunds are not available.
Refunds for SEPA direct debit payments
If you paid for your Skillshare subscription using SEPA direct debit, you can request a refund within 8 weeks of the initial payment.
Refunds for subscriptions purchased through the mobile app
If your subscription was purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, Skillshare cannot cancel, refund, or manage that subscription. Deleting the mobile app does not cancel your subscription.
You must request refunds directly through the app store where the purchase was made.
