Posting your project work is a great way to interact with your teacher and fellow students! These instructions are for posting projects from a desktop computer or mobile web.
Publish a New Project
- Navigate to your class and head to the Projects & Resources tab.
- Click Submit Project.
- Optional: Add a cover image that represents your project. The ideal size for this is 690 x 388 pixels; maximum 8 MB.
- Add a project title and project description for your project.
- Add any related content for your project, such as images, video (YouTube, Vimeo, or other streaming links), or an external link. Inline images should be 1000 x 690 pixels for them to display properly, and cannot exceed 2 MB in size.
- Optional: If you want to make your project private, i.e., not visible in the class’s project gallery, check Make this project private.
- Once your project is fully uploaded, scroll back to the top of the page and click Publish.
Update an Existing Project
You can update an existing project anytime after publishing it.
- Open your published project, either from the Projects & Resources tab in the class or from your profile page on Skillshare.
- Select Edit Project.
- Update your project as needed.
- Click Publish to save your changes.
You can only submit one project per class. If you’re participating in a challenge class that has multiple project submissions over a set time period, you’ll need to update your class project submission for each project you complete in the class. You may label each project in the overall submission or not — check the Projects & Resources tab in your class to see if your teacher has given you specific instructions. Your teacher is not notified when you update a project.
Publish a Project Using the Skillshare App
At this time, you are not able to upload and publish class projects directly from the app. iOS app users can access the Projects & Resources tab on the class; clicking Submit Project will redirect you to the mobile version of the website. Follow the instructions above for publishing your project.
