If you subscribed through the iOS App Store or Google Play, you’ll need to cancel your subscription directly through that app store. Skillshare isn’t able to manage or cancel subscriptions purchased through third-party platforms.
Uninstalling the app won't cancel your subscription. To end your membership, you need to cancel your subscription through your app store. If you uninstall the app without canceling, you'll still be charged.
Cancel your subscription through your app store
On iOS (Apple App Store)
- Open your device’s Settings.
- Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
- Find your Skillshare subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
On Android (Google Play)
- Open the Google Play app.
- Tap your profile icon.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select your Skillshare subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the steps.
Important before you cancel
- Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription
- You’ll continue to be charged until you cancel through your app store
- Skillshare can’t cancel or refund subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google Play
What happens after you cancel
After you cancel, your subscription will stay active until the end of your current billing period.
During that time, you can still:
- Watch classes and lessons
- Work on projects
- Participate in discussions
Once your subscription ends:
- You’ll lose access to classes and lessons
- Your subscription won’t renew
- You can return and subscribe again anytime
