How do I accept a 1-on-1 Session booking?

How you accept a new booking depends on your Notice Period settings when you set up the session on Skillshare:

  • If you selected Manually accept/decline every call request, you’ll receive a notification as soon as the request is made. From there, you will need to log in to the 1-on-1 Sessions section of Creator Hub to accept or decline the request — all new, unconfirmed bookings will appear on the New tab. Unaccepted calls will be canceled 4 hours before the call to avoid a no-show. We recommend this setting.
  • Or, you can Accept bookings automatically so all new requests are automatically confirmed. This means you won’t have to manually manage bookings ahead of time, and you can still cancel calls any time.

Each time a participant books a new 1-on-1 with you, you will each receive these automated emails:

  • A confirmation email that includes the video conferencing link that you’ll use to join the call on the day of the session, as well as the participant’s responses to the questions you asked in the registration flow.
  • Two reminder emails, sent 24 hours and 15 minutes in advance of the session.

A link in the email will redirect you to your Bookings page on the Creator Hub so you can manage the session or message the student.
