The Creative Feed is a customized experience that brings together updates from the teachers and peers you follow — including new class launches, discussion posts, and project activity — all in one central place. It’s designed to spark deeper and more frequent engagement, help you rediscover the teachers and classes you love, and keep creativity flowing.
What is the Creative Feed?
The Creative Feed is a centralized space on Skillshare where you can catch up on the latest from the teachers and peers you follow, including new classes, discussion posts, and projects.
Active members and users on a free trial can view and interact with the Creative Feed now at skillshare.com/community. You can also access the feed by clicking on the Community link in the top navigation on Skillshare.
This early version is just the beginning, but the goal is big: our goal is to help you and other students like you stay engaged, discover more of what (and who) you love, and feel more connected to a creative community.
How is the Creative Feed different from projects I share or class discussions?
Your feed is unique based on the people you follow and classes you’ve interacted with. When you post a new project or start a discussion in a class, that activity may appear in other students’ feeds if they follow you or are taking the same class.
In short, it’s a more dynamic, scrollable way for you to stay connected to what’s happening on Skillshare without having to navigate between class pages or tabs. You’ll still receive in-platform notifications and email updates for new discussions as you usually do — the Creative Feed just brings everything together into one scrollable view, right on Skillshare.
How can I interact with the Creative Feed?
You can interact with posts in the Creative Feed just like you do today — by liking and commenting on discussions and projects — but now, you can do it right in your feed. No need to navigate to a separate class page or open a pop-up — everything happens in-line, within the scroll. And with no ads!
To add something to the Creative Feed, just use the same tools you already know when you’re engaging with classes: share a project, or post a class discussion. The Creative Feed simply brings that activity front and center. To interact with this feature, you’ll need to have an active Skillshare membership.
Will all of my content, like discussions and projects, be visible in the Creative Feed?
Short answer: yes! Anything you share on Skillshare will appear in your peers’ Feed if they follow you or you’re taking the same class. And this early version is sorted by last update date, so any activity on a post, such as a discussion or a project, will surface that content again.
How can I share feedback on the Creative Feed?
We’d love to hear from you! Click the feedback tab at the bottom of the Creative Feed to send us a note.
