You can track your progress and celebrate what you’ve completed on Skillshare through Skillshare Achievements, which include badges and class certificates. Once you start learning, you’ll see your progress on your My Achievements page.

View your My Achievements page

On desktop

1. Go to your profile.
2. Click Achievements.
3. Browse your badges and certificates.

On the mobile app (iOS & Android)

1. Open your browser and go to your profile.
2. Tap Achievements.
3. Browse your badges and certificates.

What you’ll find on your Achievements page

Your My Achievements page brings together all of your Skillshare Achievements, including badges and class certificates:

Badges

Badges are earned when you complete actions on Skillshare—like finishing classes, submitting projects, or engaging with the community. They help you see your progress over time.

There are three types of badges:

• Lifetime badges: Earned every time you complete a core action, like finishing a class
• Milestone badges: Earned once when you reach a specific goal, like completing multiple classes
• Community badges: Earned once for engaging with others, like following a teacher

Class certificates

Class certificates are awarded when you complete a class and submit a project for that same class. Each certificate includes details like your name, the class title, the teacher, and the completion date.

How to earn badges

You’ll earn badges automatically as you learn and participate on Skillshare.

For example:

• Complete a class to earn a Lifetime badge
• Submit projects to unlock Milestone badges
• Follow a teacher or engage with others to earn Community badges

How to earn class certificates

To earn a class certificate, you need to:

1. Watch all lessons in a class
2. Submit a project for that class

Once both steps are complete, your certificate will appear in your Achievements page.

Share your class certificates

On desktop

1. Go to your profile.
2. Click Achievements.
3. Select the certificate you want to share.
4. Click Share, then choose a platform or copy the link.

On the mobile app (iOS & Android)

1. Open your browser and go to your profile.
2. Tap Achievements.
3. Select a certificate.
4. Tap Share, then choose how you want to share it.

Why you might not see badges or certificates

In some cases, you may not see badges or certificates for past activity.

• Badges were introduced after some earlier activity, so older actions may not be included
• Some historical activity may be incomplete

If you’re missing a certificate, check this guide first to make sure you’ve met the certificate requirements. Once you’ve confirmed that, review the details below about your project’s visibility:

Projects saved as drafts don’t qualify for a class certificate.

Tips for making progress

• Complete all lessons in a class to qualify for a certificate
• Submit a project for every class you finish
• Check your Achievements page to see what to do next
• Stay engaged with the community to unlock more badges
