What are digital products?
Digital products are tools, resources, and templates developed by creators like you. We’re on a mission to launch more ways for creators to earn, and more ways for our community to turn learnings into action. Now, you can reach a new creative audience and help them grow their creative practice by sharing your unique expertise, all while growing a new passive income stream.

What kinds of digital products can I sell on Skillshare?
Digital products are a paid offering intended to complement your existing classes and 1-on-1s, so you can offer what you feel would best suit your audience! Create a Digital Product for Skillshare provides a broad overview of the kinds of digital products we’re looking for on Skillshare, how to optimize your content for Skillshare, some pricing guidelines, and examples.
Further to that, we’re actively sourcing digital products from our teacher community in our most-searched topics because that’s where we anticipate the most demand. What can I expect in regards to digital products over the next few months?
Launching digital products on Skillshare is part of our company mission to help teachers grow their earnings and build their brand, but we’re working on something bigger: we’re working to make Skillshare a destination for multiple ways to learn and earn.
Digital products are a brand new offering on Skillshare and this means right now, individual offerings listed on Skillshare are visible via direct link only. Discovery will be limited to start as we generate supply and build up this offering over time; our long-term goal is to work toward establishing Skillshare as a destination for digital products. Here’s what to look out for from Skillshare in the meantime for giving visibility to this new offering:
- We anticipate digital products will be visible in Skillshare search later in August 2024.
- We plan on incorporating selected digital products into email and social marketing campaigns to broadcast to our member community and wider Skillshare audience.
