How can I start hosting 1-on-1 Sessions on Skillshare?

Heads up! We’re getting ready to launch Creator Hub, a new experience for managing everything you offer on Skillshare, from classes, 1-on-1s, and digital products, all in one place. The launch is expected to happen in early June.

In the meantime, you can keep creating new offerings (and managing existing ones) just as you have been — the current experience will stay live until Creator Hub rolls out.

Want to know what’s coming? Read all about it in our announcement, Coming Soon! Creator Hub: Your New Home for Managing Content on Skillshare. We’re excited to bring this new experience to the teacher community.

Eligibility Requirements

To host 1-on-1 Sessions on Skillshare, you need:

  • A teaching account on Skillshare. If you’re not already signed up to teach on Skillshare, head to skillshare.com/teach. Once your application is approved, you'll need to start a class draft — only teachers can connect a Superpeer account to Skillshare. Head to How do I start a new class draft? for instructions.
  • Eligibility to be paid through Superpeer’s payment system, Wise. Check to make sure your bank account is registered in a country Wise supports. Refer to this article in Wise's Help Center for the full list: Where can I open a Wise balance?
Keep in mind all 1-on-1 Sessions on Skillshare must follow our 1-on-1 Sessions and Live Sessions Content Guidelines.

Get Started with Hosting

To get started with hosting 1-on-1 Sessions on Skillshare, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Go to superpeer.com/register to create a free host account.
  2. Connect your Skillshare account to your Superpeer account under Account Settings > Integrations.
    • If you do not yet have a Skillshare account, you’ll be prompted to sign up to teach. Once we’ve processed your sign up form, and you've created a class draft, you’ll be able to connect your account. You can proceed with the other steps while your form is being reviewed.
  3. Optional: On Superpeer, we also recommend connecting your Google Calendar to your Superpeer account under Account Settings > Integrations.
  4. Connect your bank account to Superpeer so you can receive payment for 1-on-1 Sessions. Check out this article for instructions: How do I receive payment for services I offer through Superpeer?
  5. Update your profile pages on Skillshare and Superpeer. We encourage you to use the same details (bio, photo) across both platforms for consistency, though on Superpeer you can add a video introduction.
    • As an example, see how Top Teacher Fred Trevino has set up his profile across Skillshare and Superpeer.
  6. Set up your sessions and availability for 1-on-1 Sessions on Superpeer. To ensure your sessions show up on Skillshare:
Review our guidelines for planning a session to optimize your offering for the Skillshare audience.

Once the above steps are completed, you’ll be able to toggle ON the service to make it available on Skillshare. The toggle will be enabled once all conditions are met.
